Your Raer pieces are made to last but like all good things, they appreciate a little love. Follow these care tips and your jewelry, accessories, and lifestyle pieces will keep looking their best for as long as possible.

Stainless Steel Jewelry

Our jewelry is made from 316L surgical-grade stainless steel with PVD plating (0.5 microns thick). This is the good stuff durable, hypoallergenic, and built to handle real life.

The Good News

Unlike a lot of jewelry out there, Raer pieces are:

Waterproof yes, really. Showers are fine.
Sweatproof wear it to the gym, we dare you.
Sunscreen-proof beach days are fully approved.

What to Watch Out For

PVD plating is tough, but it’s not invincible. To keep your pieces looking their best:

Avoid frequent contact with harsh chemicals think alcohol, cleaning products, and strong perfumes applied directly onto the jewelry. These can corrode the plating over time.
Don’t soak your jewelry in salt water or chlorinated pools for extended periods.
Apply perfume and hairspray before putting on your jewelry, not after.

Cleaning

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing to remove any oils or residue.
For a deeper clean, use a damp cloth with a tiny drop of mild soap, then dry thoroughly.
Avoid abrasive cloths or cleaning products they’ll scratch the surface.

Storage

Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Keep pieces separate to avoid scratching your Raer packaging works perfectly for this.
Avoid leaving jewelry in humid places like bathrooms for long periods.

Freshwater Pearl Jewelry

Pearls are one of nature’s most beautiful materials and one of the most delicate. They need a little extra care compared to our stainless steel pieces.

Do’s

Wear them often the natural oils from your skin actually keep pearls looking their best.
Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth after wearing.
Store flat in a soft pouch or the original Raer packaging.

Don'ts

Don’t get pearls wet avoid showers, swimming, and rain where possible.
Keep away from perfume, hairspray, and cosmetics these are pearl enemies.
Don’t store in airtight containers for long periods; pearls need a little air.
Avoid contact with other jewelry that could scratch them.

Acrylic & Recycled Plastic Pieces

Our acrylic elements and recycled plastic necklaces are lightweight, colourful, and made to stand out. Here’s how to keep them looking sharp:

Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
Avoid harsh chemicals and solvents they can cloud or discolour the surface.
Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight when storing UV exposure over time can cause fading.
Avoid dropping on hard surfaces acrylic can crack under impact.
Store separately from metal pieces to avoid surface scratches.

One final, very important note: acrylic looks tough. It is not. It is not bendable, it is not flexible, and it will not survive a test of strength. Do not sit on it, step on it, drop it on the floor, attempt to bend it, or try to prove anything to anyone with it. We promise you the acrylic will lose every single time. No exceptions. Treat it like the fabulous, slightly dramatic piece it is.

Cat & Dog Collars

Because your pet deserves to look good too and their collar needs to handle a lot more than yours does.

Wipe down regularly with a damp cloth to remove dirt and moisture.
For customised letter elements, treat them like our acrylic jewelry avoid harsh chemicals and prolonged soaking.
Remove the collar before swimming or bathing your pet where possible, or dry it thoroughly afterwards.
Check the hardware (clasps and rings) regularly for any signs of wear.

T-Shirts

Our tees are 100% cotton soft, comfortable, and made to be worn, washed, and worn again.

Machine wash at 30°C or lower to preserve the colour and shape.
Wash inside out to protect any print or embroidery.
Do not tumble dry lay flat or hang to dry to keep the fit.
Iron inside out on a low heat if needed. Do not iron directly over any printed areas.
Do not bleach.

Socks

Yes, we have care instructions for socks. Because details matter.

Machine wash at 30°C.
Wash inside out to preserve colour.
Do not bleach or tumble dry on high heat.
Pair them up before washing we take no responsibility for missing socks.

Caps

Keep your cap in shape with a little care:

Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap this is the safest method.
If a full wash is needed, hand wash gently in cool water.
Do not machine wash or tumble dry this can distort the shape.
Reshape while damp and air dry on a round surface (like a bowl or a head your call).
